Hi Everyone, How time flys. We have been cleaning rentals, helping at the county fair, raking rocks, hauling gravel and planting grasses for next year. We will be helping Sam and Shannon

this weekend painting their rental house. It is suppose to be in the upper 90's. The paint should dry pretty fast! I have included a few pics of the the yard, flowers, dad hauling rocks and we still

July 4th fun!!

Hi Everyone, hope you all had a nice holiday. We spent the long weekend at the Prineville

Reservior with our family and friends. Sam, Shannon, Porter, Shannon's sister Penny and

daughter Zoey along with Eric and Sondra Moroney and their son's Brian, Steven, Nathan

and their wives Amy and Kim along with their 4 children. What a group. It was so nice getting

together with the families again. Grandpa and Nana just had fun watching all the kids with

their children. There is something to be said for maturing, some call it aging. I am going to

try to put some pictures from this weekend on the blog. More later.

Poor Porter is on his side in the car seat. I can't figure out how to turn it so this is what you get.

Where's Riley??

I don't know what happened to Riley's picture but we will try again.

One of these days I will get the hang of this blog.

Summer has arrived!!!!

As you can tell, Summer has arrived and so have the Sturgeon!.

Lee was down at my brothers for 10 days and caught three nice sturgeon. It will be nice to have them in the freezer for winter.

These fish were all around fifty inches. My brother his family and Mom and Dad were all together for Fathers Day. I will add a few pictures of our get together.

Below are Dad, Lee, Jack, Scott and my brother. We have a very nice visit but of course we all ate way too much. That's what Fathers Day and picnics are for. My sister inlaw Toni is a wonderful cook. Harley and Lee cooked salmon and hamburgers. Mom and Dad enjoyed all the Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Below Harleys, boys Jed,Jack, Scott and his new baby boy, Jacks son, Harley, Dad and Lee.

The doe and her two fawns are doing great, they are still in the neighbors yard but should be getting more adventurous soon.

The last week of June is Rodeo time in Prineville. Wed. nite they drive the cows down main street. What a hoot!! Saturday morning is the parade down town. There were over 90 entries this year. Sat. evening we went to the rodeo with our neighbors from up at the lake and had a wonderful time. It was a little warm, 98 degrees. Riley is the only smart one of the bunch and really knows how to cool off. Well, this is all for now. Happy 4th of July!!! Enjoy

Spring babies how they grow.

Hi again,

We are having a cool spring so far, but the neighbor had a doe deliver two baby fawns about 2 weeks ago. They are so cute. I am going to put on a picture of them hope you can see them.

We are busy fishing, lee cutting wood for the comming winter and working in the yard. Last weekend Lee and I dug several bunches of Ribbon Grass to plant on the hill side. I am still

working on getting the last of them in the ground. Last weekend Shannon, Porter and myself

went to a craft fair near her house. We had a great time and Porter was so good. He slept thru

it all. Both boys are able to stand with a little help. How fast they grow. Lee is off to Astoria

for fishing tomorrow for about 10 days. I am going to join him for a few days and visit with

my folks. Well, that's about all for now. Hopefully we will have sturgeon pictures for the next

post. Lee, Sheri and Rilely

Here we go again.

Hi and Happy trails to everyone. This is the third time I have tried to post on my own today.

So you know what they say about being the charm. Lets see if it works.!! We are getting anxious

to plant our vegetables but the night time lows are in the 30's so we will wait about another week. Lee is outside getting the auto water system in and putting up a fence to keep out the deer and bunnies. We hope to get some veggies this season. Time will tell. I have included a few pictures of Porter and Dane, Riley of course and fishing. Happy Memorial Day to everyone!

We have been fishing in the Prineville Reservior and have been doing well. We went fishing with our neighbors John and Sherry and caught a total of 20 fish between us.

On the road again!!

Yes, I know it has been awhile since the last posting. Upon returning home from Montana we packed up and got ready to go to Hawaii. Boy has it changed in the last 33 years!!!. We stayed on Maui and soaked up a few rays and spent a day snorkeling and watching whales. It was Awsome!

As you can tell Lee still enjoys the surf and sand! Upon returning home we had our hand full with a redo of our rental home. Thank goodness for our son Sam and his wife Shannon who helped us clean up the mess.

We have worked on this house for about 3 weeks and it is finally looking like a new house again. We have it rented and hope that it stays that way for a long while. On to better things FISHING and GRANDKIDS!!

Sam, Shannon and Porter spent their first sleep over a couple of weekends ago. The guys went fishing and caught 10 fish between the two of them. Shannon and Nana kept the home fires burning and enjoying Porter. As you can tell from the first picture we wore him out, but he thinks this is OK stuff. More to come next time. Happy spring to everyone!!!
